The Australian Superkart Grand Prix was called off in November after a helicopter was called out to assist a racer from another category who had a large accident. Thankfully the driver was okay, but the meeting was postponed until October. Ilya Harpas continued his form from the November meeting and took out the Australian Superkart Grand Prix in style, winning all but one of the heats and the final Grand Prix event.
